Monel 500 Plate is a nickel-copper alloy plate strengthened by aging hardening. Its unique chemical composition adds precisely controlled aluminum (2.3-3.15%) and titanium (0.35-0.85%) elements to Monel 400. After proper heat treatment, this alloy will form a dispersed Ni3 (Al, Ti) strengthening phase, which can increase its tensile strength to more than 1.5 times that of Monel 400 while maintaining excellent corrosion resistance. It is particularly suitable for demanding working conditions that require both high strength and corrosion resistance.
This alloy plate not only inherits the excellent corrosion resistance of the Monel series in seawater, hydrofluoric acid and alkaline environments, but also obtains significant mechanical property improvements through precipitation hardening treatment. Monel 500 Plate can still maintain good structural stability at high temperatures. It is often used to manufacture high-stress fasteners in marine engineering, high-pressure valve components in chemical equipment, and special load-bearing structural parts in the aerospace field, providing engineers with a material solution with a perfect balance of strength and corrosion resistance.
